Is This Real Chocolate-y Goodness?

After two months without chocolate, something had to be done.  I always associate chocolate with "milk chocolate" and feel like all is off limits.

Au Contraire....

To the store I went to purchase Fry's Cocoa.  In the pot went 1/3 cup of cocoa, 1/3 cup of almond butter, 1/3 cup of maple syrup, 1/3 cup of oats.  Once this aromatic mixture melted together, I scooped spoonfuls onto a plate and plopped it in the fridge.

Jon says they were good, but who knows if this is real.  After 2 months chocolate-free, these tasted amazing.  Amazing, I say.  Amazing and quick.  Perfection.
