A Throw Together Meal Works, Too

We forgot to marinade our 2 pork loin chops before work the other day, so sliced-to-fast-fry it was!

Served over rice, I threw as much "fresh food" together as I had (i.e. 1 small tomato and 1 celery stalk) with the pork to create this not-so-bad meal.  This was also a great leftover lunch meal.

Thrown in a pan....
sliced pork loin chops
1/2 can of tomato paste
1/2 cup of vegetable broth
1/2 cup of water
basil/thyme/chives
1 tbsp of onion powder
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of paprika
1 tsp of oriental stir fry seasoning (Epicure)
diced small tomato
diced celery stalk

Clearly, I'm building a bit of confidence here... may even take over as being "THE" cook in our household...eventually. :) Pin It
